LENGTH OF RENTAL
You can choose to hire your outfit for either 4 or 8 days. Your order will arrive before 8pm of the day your rental begins.
Each outfit has a $100 deposit which is immediately refunded once the garment is returned in an undamaged condition. If any repairs need to be made from your rental then the cost of the repairs will be deducted from your deposit and any remaining amount will be refunded to your allocated credit card.
DURING YOUR RENTAL
Please treat your outfit as you would your own.
Please only wear garments that are your size. Wearing an outfit that does not fit you may damage seams and zips or fray hems. You will be liable to pay for repair or replacement.
RETURNING YOUR RENTAL
Rentals must be posted on or before the day your rental ends. Please pack your outfit into the express postage satchel included in your order and drop into a yellow Australia Post post box or hand over the counter at an authorised Australia Post shop. If your rental ends on a Sunday or a public holiday and you do not have access to a yellow Australia Post post box, please hand over the counter at an authorised Australia Post shop before 12pm the next day.
WHAT'S IN THE PIPELINE
I am currently working on the next Abbie James collection which will be released as a gradual collection for Australian AW2023/24. This collection will be sold online worldwide.
How will this collection be my most sustainable and inclusive yet?
Fabrics will be sourced from a local deadstock supplier and where possible traced back to the original manufacturing mill.
Everything from thread, fusing, buttons, zips will be considered and the most sustainable option available will be used.
Garments will be manufactured, made to order, locally in my hometown of Melbourne.
SIZING & FIT
The sizing will expand to a women's Australian size 4-16. There will be an option to have garments altered to fit specific measurements to accommodate petite and extra tall customers.
Fabric during the design, sampling and manufacturing process will be recycled through UPPAREL. Fabric will be repurposed on shore in Australia.
For every garment sold a tree will be planted through Ecologi.
